Golfers finish third at Kaneohe Klipper Course

KANEOHE, Hawaii (Oct. 22, 2013) - Mike Klem shot a one-over-par 72 and the BYU-Hawaii men's golf team finished third at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in a tri-match vs. Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade.

HPU shot a team-best 294 on the Par 72 course of 6,528 total yards. Chaminade shot 303 and the Seasiders finished with 306 strokes.

Klem's 73 was the second-best individual score of the day, just one off the leader.

Federico Clausen and Zach Janiec notched a four-over-par 77's and Peder McOmber shot a 79 while Bowen Prestwich shot 87 for the round.

BYU-Hawaii will hit the links again Saturday at the Dennis Rose Invitational at Waikoloa Kings' Course.
