GAMES 3 & 4: BYU-Hawaii vs. Seattle Pacific, Central Washington

LAIE, Hawaii (Nov. 21, 2013) – After a tough loss to No. 7 Western Washington, the BYU-Hawaii men's basketball team will face off against another ranked team, No. 9 Seattle Pacific on Friday. The Seasiders won't get much rest after that as they will then play Central Washington University on Saturday with both games part of the PacWest/GNAC Challenge.

The first game against Seattle Pacific starts Friday evening at 8 p.m. PST from Ellensburg, Wash. Saturday's contest begins at 4 p.m. PST against host Central Washington.

The Seasiders (1-1) played well into the second half with a lead but the Vikings were able to chip away and come back to steal a victory. BYU-Hawaii looks to bounce back in a big way with another ranked foe on the schedule.

Preseason All-PacWest honoree DeAndre Medlock posted a double-double with 22 points and a career-best 14 rebounds vs. Western Washington.

Seattle Pacific University (4-1) won its first four games in a row before suffering a 90-88 OT loss to Pacific West Conference member Dixie State.

Central Washington University (1-1) is coming off a 95-90 victory over Colorado Christian. CWU was led by junior guard Mark McLaughlin who scored an impressive 42 points in the last game.
